Playsafe Fencing Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian family business. The business has been trading succesfully as a fencing manufacturer and installation company since it was incorporated in 1982. The business is operated by Merv and Susan Just who acquired the company in November 2001.
Playsafe Fencing acquired Scottwire a company owned by the Scott family and incorporated the operations within Playsafe Fencing. Scottwire Industries has manufactured chainwire and other wire products such as wall ties in Sydney since 1902. Playsafe Fencing manufactures chainwire at Minto and produces a range of fencing products including posts, panels, and gates. In March 2003 All Steel Fencing Pty Ltd merged with Playsafe Fencing Pty Ltd in order to provide quality products and services to the fencing installation industry.
In June 2006 Peak Fencing Supplies was bought by Playsafe Fencing. This acquistion has provided Playsafe Fencing with a greater presence in the south and south-east of Sydney as well as enhancing our ability to provide quality products in tubular, timber, metal privacy fencing and powder coating. In June 2010 our Milperra operations were moved to our modern factory location at 24-26 Airds Road Minto.
